Modern browser, like Chrome have multiple ways do detect what region you are in. The most obvious one is the "region" and "language" setting in your system. For example, if my system language & time formats are set to Hungarian, then I'm probably from Hungary. The Tor Browser (to further anonymize people) hides these details from the websites you visit.
Hello and thanks for putting this together. I am not sure if this is more of a Tor question or not... I am able to watch videos that are blocked by my ISP when I use the Tor browser, but when I use this proxy and try to watch through Chrome, the video portion of websites does not load (shows "***.refused to connect").
Any idea what is going on and how I could fix that?
Cheers, Chris
