Project Status: Identity #1

This project is going to sit on Github until I finish the remainder of notes I have locally, and figure out its final design.

It will move to Drupal.org when its ready.

If you have ideas for improvement, please post a separate issue.

Set up steps for Identity module with RNG:

Download this module.
Enable the Contact entity module.
Activate the identity type in RNG configuration. See RNG Quick Start: Enable Identity Types.
Set permissions for contacts on your User Permissions page ( /admin/people/permissions ) under Contact entity heading.
Add some contacts to a user using the Add contact menu item. (Route is /identity/contact/add )
Your contacts are now reference-able as registrants when you register for an event!

The future of this module is grim. It was initially a good idea to make sure Courier and RNG supported more identities than just users. However I have no intention to develop this module further. I am looking to replace this module with integration with contact/address book style solutions as featured in various CRM systems.

I have created an integration module for CRM Core Contact. CRM Core Contact has the same and better functions as Identity.
