Value of AMI data for improving GridlabD results

QUESTIONS

1. What kinds of analysis can AMI improve? I'm looking for specific examples e.g. "if we use AMI instead of SCADA to build loadshapes then our estimate of CVR/AVV/DR/storage return on investment is X% more accurate."
2. We've got some AMI data. Getting it into a glm should be a 50-line script, right?

• Get AMI data onto a GLM as loadshapes at all the meters.
• Compare model results. Which model? We'll figure it out later.
