Add a simple hysteresis curve to the fan so instead of just turning on/off at a certain temperature. This will prevent jittering where the fan turns on/off rapidly when the temperature is exactly the toggle temperature. If the fan turns on at 85° and off at 75° then the fan will be on for multiple seconds at a time and then off for a bit
