Password obfuscation #628

Open jamcguire opened 11 months ago

Hi there,

Is there any way to obfuscate passwords so they appear hidden in keynote (perhaps as a series of dots) and can be clicked and copied to the copy-buffer without seeing the contents, so I can screen share and not worry about people seeing my passwords?

Thank you.

You could select your sensitive text, then Edit > Transform > Apply Rot-13

On the downside, before using them yourself, you'd always have to remember to first run the Rot-13 command again to transform them back to valid passwords. No simple copy and paste anymore.

For maximum comfort, I use a dedicated password manager, portable freeware: https://keepass.info/
