Failed to load stream - After updating to version 1.9.3.1 #694

Yesterday, I have updated Keynote to version 1.9.3.1. Now, am no longer able to open my knt file.

After trying to open the file, the message: "Failed to load stream" is shown.

In the message box an OK-button is shown. If I click on "OK" the application is still running, but doesn't show my file.

For now the only thing I can tell you is if you have a problem with the current version, rename the keynote.exe file and put the .exe of the previous version in its place. You can get it from the .zip of the prior version, in releases.

In the meantime I'll try to see what could be happening. On the other hand, it would be useful to me if you were able to determine on a copy of your file opened with the new version what is causing the problem when opening your file. For example, deleting folders and notes until you are left with something small that continues to fail. If you can send that to me, obfuscated, then great.

Oh, and another thing, what version were you using before updating? Do you use plain text notes? Do you use images?

With KeyNote NF closed go to task manager>Processes then search for KeyNote NF, if listed then end task on it then try re-opening the program again. Have you tried to enable .knt file association in settings and clicked open on the file? Are you installed in Programs or Programs (86) folder, if so try Run as Administrator.
