dividing line #702

It'd be great to have the option to insert a diving line. This is a standard feature in most text editors.

What length should it be? Keynote files do not have a defined page width, as in word processors.

Two easy ways to do it yourself: 1) Tools > Templates 2) Tools > Add Glossary Term

I've been using the first method, because it I like custom colors and thickness of my dividers.

No matter what option you prefer, I recommend assigning your own custom key shortcuts to it (Expand Term for 2, Insert Template for 1)

A dividing line does not have a specific width: it just takes the available horizontal space (similar to an <hr> element in HTML):

I agree this would be an interesting addition, but I don't know if this is possible using the RTF format.

Yes I too agree it would be nice to have...AllMyNotes has this infinite horizontal line...fills the width of the visible page. After x amount of dashes ----- the line becomes an infinite horizontal line.
