when paste text from internet, extra characters are pasted #705

V 1.8.5.01, Windows 10, Firefox 115.11.0esr (64-bit) when pasting a string from internet 'as a text', quite often there are 3 extra leading characters added: i»?

Now always though, but quite often Why is that?

Please note that 1.8.5 is not the latest version. That being said, I think it's probably related to the issue described in issue #618, now fixed. I recommend that you try the next version that I will release soon, 1.9.5, which will include the solution to that problem, and probably yours.
