How to update? #714

Hi!

I'm using 1.8.0 beta 6. When I try to copy to KN, I get garbage before the text copied, at least from emails. I suppose I ought to update. How do I update? Do I download a complete package from someplace, or only the exe?

Hello I recommend that you rename your current installation folder (example: "keynote_Bak") and install from the installable (.exe) corresponding to the latest version When you do this, look at the Profiles.txt and be sure to move your current settings, such as the keynote.ini and keyboard.ini files (among others), to the Profiles\Default profile folder.

When you see that you have not left anything and all behaves ok, you can end up deleting the renamed folder if you want (as long as you do not have any personal .knt file inside...)
