Package organization overhaul

Suggestions from George Wittemyer:

• turning angle is often not useful
• wavelet is too advanced, too difficult to interpret, for basic exploratory data analysis package
• mcp and kd are important more basic construction methods
• split package into basic and advanced methods?
• autocorrelation for behavioral interpretation is useful for ecologists, not managers.
• diurnal plots should show distribution of step length across time periods of day. Not smoothed through time.

Start a dev branch to test out these changes.

I think he would also emphasize interpretation aids/notes throughout the report output to guide users.

Basic:

• Data cleaning and regularization process (if needed)
• Visualization of the movement process (animation tool) – this has proved difficult but there are some outside approaches that allow this to be done
• Space use/home range
  1. MCP typically as the starting point that can be the backdrop to LoCoH, ect.
• Movement properties
  1. Step length and turning angle distribution
  2. Circadian schedule (simple box plot of step length by hour of the day)
  3. ACF
• Movement properties across landscape (basic plotting which we do on a raster of 100m x 100m or coarser scale depending on the amount of data available)
  1. Speed map across landscape
  2. Turning angle across landscape
  3. Revisitation

More Advanced

• Resource selection/preferences analysis
• HMM state space
• Advanced autocorrelation
• Other movement indices (spatial distribution)
