Hi,

I have checked and installed in moodle with latest version but its not working as the video tutorial http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Twl-7CGrS0g shows how it works. I did not seen any textarea and continue button on the latest version. Can you please suggest more on this. Please update me back.

Thanks

Hi ankitkatmore - Sorry, the video is way out of date due to so many changes and new features added to MooTyper. Due to family medical emergencies, I have not had time to try to come up with an updated video. In the current MooTyper version, the textarea is there, but hidden. Just start typing and what you type will replace what you see, and show any mistakes. After completing an exercise, you can scroll up and down to see your mistakes. If the exercise is a long one, it will scroll hidden text of the exercise into view as needed. The, Continue, button does not appear until you have completed an exercise. Go to http://m3x.drachels.com/ You can create your own student account or log in as student8 using test, as the password. You can also try teacher3/test to see MooTyper from the teachers standpoint. Up at the top above the nav bar, pick the language you desire and those log in credentials should let you into any one of the different MooTyper courses. Each language uses a different version of the keyboard layout. Let me know if you need further help.

Can we customized this like https://www.keyhero.com/free-typing-test/

Sorry, forgot that due to hack attempts I changed those credentials. Try student user as: student8 pswd: Test1234! and as a teacher user: teacher3 pswd: Test1234!. Just checked and they both work. As for the customization, you are welcome to change anything about the look and feel of MooTyper on your own installed version, at any time. However, I can tell you that I do not have any plans to turn it into a game machine, at this time. MooTyper does look vaguely like the typing program in the link you provided, in that it uses a similar text entry area. MooTyper also displays a single row status bar above the text, and a keyboard below the text. The keyboard can be hidden and can be switched to one that matches the language being used. If a keyboard is not available for a language you want to use, you can create one yourself, or let me know about it and I will try to make one. Just be aware that I am NOT able to support Chinese and Korean, at this time.

End user resolved their problem by switching browsers.
