Is PTex Utils worth an ebuild? #28

There are various tools to work with PTex here https://github.com/wdas/ptexutils but are these three utils really worth it? How many people would use them?

For users with a blender only workflow they would not be necessary.

I could imagine the ptexconvert being useful to convert to/from tiff to enable editing of the image data in other applications which do not support ptex directly eg. painting over them in gimp. The viewer might be useful to quickly check a file without needing to open blender.

But I don't know how many people would use ptex itself as it is new and probably not in most people's workflow yet.

We will work on this after everything is in the tree. :) That will give time for bug reports and fixing them before having a new project.
