it was only tested on straight ubuntu, i don't have any ideas where that error comes from, says the directory doesn't exist but doesn't say what directory. You'd have to debug the issue when it gets to the icons and desktop shortcuts section of the install script. If i was a betting man i'd wager the issue is in trying to make the desktop links executable. I don't know enough about your distribution to know if that will work out for it. The script might require changes locally. Feel free to submit any PR to fix the script to work with your distribution AND ubuntu.
