Grenade hotkey issue #16

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Have no weapon pulled out.
2. Hit grenade hotkey to throw a grenade.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to throw a grenade, but instead I pull the grenade out, hold it for as
long as I hold the grenade key, but don't throw when the key is released.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Using the r476 build.

Please provide any additional information below.
Tested with all weapons and thrown weapons I had. It does the animation of
pulling out the grenade, but will never throw it. If I release the key, it then
pulls out my equipped weapon (or fists if nothing is equipped) and I have to
push the grenade key again to actually throw it.

This problem is pretty old actually. It usually happens when using the key for
the first time, right? I'll try to track it down.

Nevermind, I never realized that this was so easy to reproduce :)

I'm glad you figured out what I meant. It was kind of hard to explain easily; I
was going to capture some video if you didn't get it.
