Unable to open any site when "Tor Connected"

hello i am using the latest version of the program 2020.318 when i click the connect button the program show me that i am connected to the tor but when i open my browser and open any site its show me network error

Could you be a bit more specific? What kind of network errors are you getting? Have you used a previous version of OnionFruit without any issues?

The Tor bundle was updated but that shouldn't have caused any issues. I'll test tonight and release any updates if a fix is needed

@ariaieboy I have done some testing and cannot reproduce your issue. Please inform me of the following:

• what countries you have set on the main page and the output page
• what environment you are running it in (school, work, home, etc.)
• is there a proxy
• is tor banned in the country you are in
• what OS you are running
• a log file (you can find a logs at %localappdata%\DragonFruit Network\OnionFruit\Logs)

I will have to close this issue unless something more specific is given to work with.

• in the main page its just show me random
• i running it in my home pc ` no proxy used its only your app
• yeah tor is banned in my country and alot of bridges too
• i am running last version of windows 10 (OS Build 18363.720)

when its says connected i cant reach any site including your land page and all sites give me a timeout

@ariaieboy OnionFruit uses a default timer of 5 seconds to allow the tor app to boot and then defaults to "connected". In this time it is assumed all the settings are correct and a successful connection has already been made.

We are currently working on a solution that will mean the app will provide more information, and won't say connected unless tor says so.

As you mentioned the country you are in Tor is blocked - this would explain why you cannot connect. The config also says you haven't configured a bridge - If you find a working bridge, you can right click on the main window, click settings and configure a bridge under proxy and try again, but please be aware that we currently only support undisguised bridges.

What I've done is changed the strings so it doesn't imply that there is a tor connection established. It will now say that tor has started successfully instead
