Hardware keyboard special keys don't match with the input (LG GW620) #453

What steps will reproduce the problem?
Trying to enter a special char, like the slash. I got a different sign.
So my keyboard layout of the special char aren't matching the software.

What version of the product are you using?
V1.7.1 

What type of system are you trying to connect to?
Debian

(All on my LG GW620)

I am getting the same error when connecting to OS X.  No special chars, only a 
capital.
