Alt combinations not working on last market build #461

Steps to reproduce:
On Geeksphone One.
Create a local connection.
Press "Alt F" to write "/" symbol.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
A "6" is printed instead.

What version of the product are you using (you can see this by using Menu
-> About in the Host List)?
ConnectBot 1.7.1 (v1.7.1 2010.10.08)

What type of system are you trying to connect to?
Local.

If you are able to connect, what is the output of "echo $TERM", "uname -a",
and any other relevant information on the host?
TERM is emtpy.
uname -a is Linux localhost 2.6.35.7-cyanogenmod #1 PREEMPT Tue Feb 15 23:07:20 
WET 2011 armv6l GNU/Linux

Please provide any additional information below.
It used to work in other versions.
