Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Install connectbot "master" Aug 16 or 31
2.connect to SSH server
3. it stops before password request comes up. see screenshot
4. Installing version from market works.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Normal connect screen and password request. See second screenshot.

What version of the product are you using (you can see this by using Menu
-> About in the Host List)?

What type of system are you trying to connect to?

If you are able to connect, what is the output of "echo $TERM", "uname -a",
and any other relevant information on the host?

 mail ~ # uname -a
Linux mail.tnonline.net 2.6.38-gentoo-r6 #1 PREEMPT S
at Jun 4 20:42:52 CEST 2011 i686 AMD Athlon(tm) XP 26

Please provide any additional information below.

Same issue on iconia tab, was going to use the latest of the tablet branch
because it uses the extra screen real estate a lot better

You are supposed to answer yes or no when it reports that authenticity can't be
established...

Drop your keyboard and see if this Yes/No prompt is underneath the keyboard.
Once you answer this, it should proceed.
This happened to me one time as well, and It was confusing.

You can see from the screenshot that the keyboard was not visible.

However, I just tried last version from September and it connects fine. Unless
others have the same problem this issue can be closed as resolved.

Thanks.
