Documentation: URLs #6

Each Listicle can have its own URL, and there is a button in the top toolbar that will launch the selected Listicle's URL in your default browser (the selected Listicle is displayed in bold).

Maybe it should be clear, but for me it is not. A URL to what? What is the purpose of the URL? Is it generating some static HTML file somewhere that can be hosted? Or uploading the list somewhere? What is the URL for?

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll update the README on the main github page with some more details about how this works, but will also go ahead and answer it here.

Whenever you create a Listicle, you can enter an arbitrary URL that you want to be associated with it. Later, in the plugin's UI you can select any Listicle and click the "Go to URL" button at the top to open that Listicle's URL in your browser.

Here's my use case for this feature: I sometimes make Listicles out of "Top 10 games blah blah" from Youtube. When I create those, I enter the URL for the video, so I can always easily go back to the video at any time and so I always know what that Listicle was based on. I do the same thing if I create a Listicle based off of some article on the internet...I paste in the URL to that article so that I can always easily go back to that URL with a click from inside Playnite.
