"Always On Lateral" and Experimental mode? #47

Describe the bug

With DP, if I turn on "Always On Lateral" then Experimental mode seems to go away.

Is that the expected behavior?

Provide a route where the issue occurs

Hi,

If you have not set the speed yet (light blue border) then you openpilot isn’t controlling longitudinal controls.

it would be good if you could provide additional information such as :

dragonpilot version.
device (EON or C3).
vehicle year and model.

Latest version of dragon pilot, Release 3 Running on a Comma3 2021 Camry Hybrid

You enable like stock cruise control. Then have set your set speed your set speed to longitudinal active via set or + buttons.. Green boarder means always on active and working. Listen for chimes and set speed to tell openpilot long is working. This is same stock behavior TSS behavior expect LTA is replaced with always on openpilot steering

Please close this "bug report" User error. I had the "steering wheel" indicator turned off.
