listening to others private songs doesn't work even when marked as favorites #28

I am receiving one new song each month for a year as a
promotional offer for preordering an artists last album.  I receive an
email with a link to what I assume is that artists private page.  I
downloaded this app to listen to his work and, even when I save his
stuff as favorites, it will not update to my favorites in app.
