update: removed driver config for 42b053c and update driverkit configs #1951

This updates the driver dependency to v4.0.0, adds new driverkit configs accordingly and removes the driver configs for the 42b053c. 😄

@therealbobo it looks to me that the PR description and content do not really match :sweat_smile: are we missing a commit or do you need to update the description?
