How to capture data for table 6A and optional quality measures in table 6B and 7 in Reporting Param FHIR #76

Reporting parameters FHIR resource mandates a value for all the tables and quality measures. However, for UDS+ 2024 table 6A is not required and only 1 quality measure out of table 6B and 7 are required.

In that case how should we report the attributes for tables and measures that are optional.

The answer is to write “FALSE” for any eCQMs you are not submitting. Just like last year, the UDS+ validator will be checking each submission for meeting the minimum, but you’re welcome to submit MORE than the minimum, and there should be no issues with those being marked “TRUE” in the patient reporting parameters.

P.S. Always ensure that the manifest file conforms to the current or previous version of the spec (e.g., if you're sending in data on prenatal, ensure "hcPrenatalCareByReferralOnly" is formatted correctly).
