These commits are required to make new-reddit branch work on Firefox.

Fixed fallback to chrome.storage to localStorage (ReferenceError: chrome is not defined);
Fixed infinite login loop;
Fixed form fields resetting to null;

Other things seem to work good. Tested on Firefox 66.0.3, Tampermonkey 4.9.5921 and the new Reddit design.
