Allows the same name and serial #18

When I first started using findit, I really thought that it would throw up an error message if I had something as the same name, serial, or unique ID. The other day, I created 2 things with the same name, and 2 things with the same serial (they were the difference between 4 A) Can we please set it up to where it gives me an error if I enter the same serial number or name? Thanks!
