E-Mail Subscribe Pop-Up #12

Our e-comm guy sent over some notes on our pop-up - can we implement 1,2,5,6 - the rest we can ignore as it is content driven or contradicts mockup i sent over.

1) Timing - 15 Seconds after page entrance or 2nd page interaction, whichever comes first 2) Duration - 30 day cookie limit 3) CTA - Leverage incentive-based messaging - ie. “Sign up for a chance to win an X", “Take 10% off Your 1st Order”, “Receive Free Shipping on Your 1st Order”, “Free Returns for Life”, etc… 4) Imagery - Leverage bold imagery w/ clear call-out of logo/brand name 5) Background - Use semi-transparent/opaque background 7) Location - Off-center pop-up to avoid covering homepage hero image or design homepage hero to accommodate centered pop-up 6) Mobile - Ensure pop-up is not full bleed on mobile and allows for easy exit click (click anywhere and not just on “x”)

hmmm. looking into shopify apps like privy and mailchimp that would give you more control of the logic of how popup displays on the page. (vs hardcoding it)

privy gives you some flexibility

we use mailchimp for our email marketing and have in intergrated with shopify on the mailchimp side of things, but i'm not sure if provides the flexibility we need to get the triggers firing right.

@drawby Take a peek at http://wisepops.com/ . Allows for robust logic and has a shopify connector: https://apps.shopify.com/wisepops . There is a nominal monthly fee associated with it but usually is a bit more flexible than hard coding.
