Gallery stops responding while trying to edit photos (5 megapixels)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Go to gallery
2.Select a photo with large size
3.Try to edit it

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The photo should be shown with the editor, instead the photo doesn't load. I 
see the cancel button. This button become unresponsive after this.

What version of the product are you using?
Evervolv-Perdo-2.1.0p6
