Cannot manage/add channels

What steps will reproduce the problem?
No channels shown in 'home' - just an empty global and favorites. A full list 
of channels appears in 'manage channels' but selecting 'add' does not appear to 
do anything.
Attempting to manage channels through the mediaportal configuration tool Online 
Video-> Sites -> Import Global also gives a full list of channels but when I 
select "import selected sites" I get the following error:

DataContractSerializer config section under System.Runtime.Serialization 
section group could not be loaded. Verify that machine.config is correctly set.

What version of MediaPortal are you using? On what operating system?
1.1.3.0 on Windows XP

What skin?
Bluewide

I think your .NET Framework install is broken.

Please try to uinstall and then install it, to see if the issue persists.

Many thanks. I was a bit hasty posting the query - a bit more googling
brought up a suggestion that it was .NET

I've re-installed and it appears to be working again.
