@aquarion / @drcongo what was Githalytics before...? (sounds like some sort of GitHub analytics...)
Exactly that. It was a web-bug you could add to your readme, and by watching requests for it would detect interest in repos, forks and interest in those forks. Neat idea, but apparently didn't work out.
Thank you. I noticed that wasn't working a long time ago but was too lazy to look into why.
githalytics.com is now some kind of wordpress hosted blog, and the service's blog and twitter feed hasn't been updated for a couple of years. Seems to be dead.
