Receiving 2 notifications on phone when sending a link with Chrome to Phone.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Sending any page, text or link via Chrome to Phone.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected: Link sent to phone. Actual: Link sent to phone twice.

What version of the android, in Settings -> About phone -> Build number Vicious 
Jellybean 4.1.1 (although this was also happening in Stock ICS 4.0.4

Is the phone using WiFi or mobile network when problem occurs ? If Wifi,
are you behind a firewall that blocks outgoing connections ?
This happens both on mobile and wifi connections.

Can you open "Gmail" application ? Do you see new messages without hitting
'refresh' ?
Yes.

Can you open "Talk" application ? Do you see incoming chats ?
I do not use Talk.

Please provide any additional information below.
