Please answer the questions about build version and network, will save
developers a lot of time !
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. click on phone icon
2. Pop-up - Please sign in to Chrome to Phone. (already signed in)
3. Proceeds to sign in
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Normally it just prompts you to allow access of an app when already signed in.
Now a message appears:
The application that directed you here claims to be "Chrome To Phone". We are
unable to verify this claim as the application runs on your computer, as
opposed to a website. We recommend you deny access unless you trust the
application.
What version of the android, in Settings -> About phone -> Build number (
ex. FRFxx ) ? If less than FRF50 - see the FAQ. JOP40C
Is the phone using WiFi or mobile network when problem occurs ? If Wifi,
are you behind a firewall that blocks outgoing connections ? Issues is apparent
on both wifi and cell network connection
Can you open "Gmail" application ? Do you see new messages without hitting
'refresh' ? yes
Can you open "Talk" application ? Do you see incoming chats ? yes
Please provide any additional information below.
See attached screen shot. This started after received update for extension.
Removed extension and re add from market issue still occurs.
