Would it be possible that skippy-xd shows a subspace for a configurable subprocess on a side of the exposé ? I mostly think about a launcher like catfish, kupfer or synapse, although I guess the latter GUIs are too fancy. But I think it could be really useful to have a clock as well.
And would it be feasible to send all alphanumerical keystrokes to it, and keep the arrow and tab keys for window focusing ?
The point would be to get a little closer to Gnome desktop usage, ie keep the screen lean when you work, and bring a global view when one asks for it.
Would you @dreamcat4 have some insights on what it would involve to implement such a feature ? For instance insert xclock into the main view for a start (I understand skippy-xd does not rely on any toolkit, using pure X libraries). I lack a global pattern to push this idea forward.
