Bug Description

While trying to play Heretic: Shadow of the Serpent Riders with the following setup:

Device: Steam Deck
OS: SteamOS
Session: Gaming Mode
Engine: GZDoom

The game completely shuts down and won't open.

How to Reproduce

Install Luxtorpeda compatibility tool on Steam via ProtonUp-Qt
Install Steam's Heretic: Shadow of the Serpent Riders game
Under the game's properties > compatibility: choose Luxtorpeda
Under the "Pick an engine" window, choose GZDoom

Expected behaviour

The game to launch after choosing GZDoom under "Pick an engine", either on Gaming Mode or on Desktop Mode.

Additional context

Here is my troubleshooting log: heretic-luxtorpeda.log Log generated via Konsole terminal on Desktop Mode.
