Module doesn't work with stock LineageOS Contacts app

Hello! nice to meet you. I am sending you the message here because I did not see any other way to communicate with you. I have the lineageos rom and I have been testing your sync module on the latest lineageos roms along with the stock lineageos apps and there is a problem.

In contacts, if I don't enable the module in magisk, I can select a google account to add the new contacts “account default for news contacts”. But as soon as I enable the module, only the “device” option appears.

The permissions are correct it seems etc, do you have any idea what can it be? As soon as I install google contacts, it works perfect with your module, I can add new contacts to the google account, but I would like your module to work with the lineageos stock app.

I was comparing the permissions of linear contacts and google contacts, and the differences are:

google contacts has the extra permission to: listen to C2DM messages

lineageos contacts has the extra permission to: read the call log

Those are the only differences in permissions, can someone please help? I'm sure it's nonsense, but I can't figure out what it could be. *I have tried the new versions of lineageos and lineageosmicrog from 7/24/2024 and it still does not work

I can confirm the following behaviour:

Additional information

• It is possible to modify and sync existing contacts both ways
• It is not possible to add new contacts to be synced, as there is no option to select the google account as "account default" in the LineageOS Contacts app
• Calendar works as expected

Things I have tried

• Updating the magisk-flashable zip with GoogleContactsSyncAdapter.apk for Android 14/ARM64 - extracted from MindTheGapps
• Removing and re-adding google account through microG
• Clearing cache and storage of GoogleContactsSyncAdapter, Contacts, Contacts Storage, microG etc.

Device

• Google Pixel 7 (panther), LineageOS 21 / Android 14 + microG
