Create a new difficulty called Normal which is between the current Normal and Hard.
Most of the people are playing on Easy, and the rest mostly on Normal; a few on hard, even fewer than insane
The current easy and normal difficulties are making the game look boring and very unengaging because nothing really happens. But now that we have powerups available, we want to make people use them and we do that by increasing the overall difficulty of the game. That way, people have no choice but to use powerups.

I believe that will make the game more engaging.
