RAPIDFIRE: This powerup allows you to instantly kill the closest zombies upon activating. It's a very powerful powerup because it can save your bacon, multiple times.
C4: A very powerful explosion that's detonated manually by the player, allowing for more strategic gameplay.
Removed the easier two difficulties from the game, making the game a bit more difficult overall; hopefully, this will better motivate players to make use of powerups to survive.
The enemies now spawn a bit further than before.
A complete overhaul to the options menu. Now it's finally looking like the designer intended.
Added a new secret to the game; while trying to activate this secret, you'd better be laughing out loud...
Changed the color of the text in the Controls screen to match the same light greenish color used for the words of the powerup containers.
Reduced the size of the enemy words on screen, and increased the character spacing of the font as well; both of these adjustments should make the text much more readable, especially in crowded areas.
Now fading out the enemy words instead of instantly removing them.
The images of the powerup containers now fly to their corresponding powerup icons on the right hand side when their container is destroyed, unless you are currently at the maximum level for that powerup.
Fixed the bug where pressing Escape in the first screen of the main menu would cause the first screen to fade out -_-
Changed the spawnrate of the powerup crates to be a bit more random.
No more than two powerup crates will now be on screen.
Finally changed our corpus of words. The words now will be much more familiar.
Fixed the bug where the game could stop working after the algorithm reaches the end of our current dictionary of words.
Renamed 'Arcade' to 'Story' mode.
Reduced the maximum number of words the slow enemies can have from 5 to 3 because they were taking forever to down by typing.
The starting brightness is now 50%, and the default graphics quality is now 'Good'.
Adjusted the values of the brightness range.
When you die, the enemy words now fade out while the level statistics transitions in.'
Added some mutual exclusivity rules which determine which powerups are allowed to work with each other:
SLOWTIME cannot be activated during RAPIDFIRE.
LANDMINES cannot be activated during SLOWTIME or RAPIDFIRE.
RAPIDFIRE cannot be activated during SLOWTIME or SNIPER.
SNIPER cannot be activated during RAPIDFIRE.
The score and combo now shown on top of the Sniper scope overlay so that the player can see the score and combo multiplier while downing enemies with the sniper.
