Sounds are very indicative of on screen action (even considering that the player will sometimes be looking at the keyboard). Sounds will definitely help immerse the player even more if done correctly.

I think our choice of having psychedelic trance playing as background music is perfect as this surely ads to the intensity. I think having arcade style voices (usually female) shouting out powerups , bonus kills , combos , highscores etc would definetly go well.

We should improve the gun shot sounds. Listening to the same sound clip over and over can make the game sound quote boring. Plus it makes the player feel more like a machine constantly shooting the same amount of rounds. Adding sounds like shells dropping on the floor and reload sounds will make the game feel more polished.

Other sounds to take into consideration:

⦁ Power-ups Collection Activation

⦁ Weapons Shots fired for different weapons: Sniper, Shotgun etc Shots hitting target flesh Reload Ammo Shells

⦁ Zombies Different zombie growls for different zombies Zombies shot/hit Zombies killed

⦁ Gameplay Typos - error sound - misfire Combo multiplier - escalating sound with every combo increase Points earned Wave completed Game over

⦁ Player Wave complete - success cheering Player hit Player killed
