Can't access the server after Android update #426

Hei,

I just updated my fairphone 4 to the newst eOS 2.1. (Android 13) and since then I can't reach firefly with waterfly. Look at the screenshot, I get en error message.

I tried to creat a new key, but this did not help at all.

I'm sure somone has an idea or knows the problem.

Hi, through which source did you install the app? I'm not sure if Fairphone offers their "own" play store, if yes: that does not work. The version in the play store requires Google Play Services.

You can try the fdroid version by Izzy, that one works without Google Play Services: https://apt.izzysoft.de/fdroid/index/apk/com.dreautall.waterflyiii

I did not update the app and before the android update from 12 to 13 it worked like a charm. I have waterfly from fdroid, because I don't have google due to my degooglized fairphone.

Sorry my bad, i took it from aurora store wich worked perfekly fine the last year

How about updated? Because I downloaded the apk direktly frome the link you gave me. Will it also update automaticaly when you push a new version?

Btw... Thanks for your work on waterfly, its really great app and i enjoy it every time

If you're using the FDroid app on your phone, it should update automatically, yes. If you just downloaded the apk directly (the "Download" button on the site), no.

So I'd recommend using the Fdroid app!
