Phoscon does not restore scene correctly #257

Open telefonmann opened 3 years ago

telefonmann commented 3 years ago

I have deconz running on a Raspberry Pi 3 and almost everything seems to work fine. With Phoscon I can manually switch a group of Ikea light bulbs on/off, change brightness and color temperature. Now I found out that when I define and save a scene with specific brightness and color temperature it will restore the brightness but not the exact temperature. Can anyone help me with this issue?

Thanks in advance!!!

YKO-de commented 3 years ago

The colour temperature setting still causes problems with group commands and Ikea bulbs. We are working on it.

aerox845 commented 3 years ago

i have bought several lidl livarno ceiling lights and so on and if i switch the color temperature with an aqara opple switch for example then turn the light Off/on with another button from that switch it returns to "standart" color temperature settings. doesnt seem to save any Color temperature or dimming settings.

is this a known issue?

i'd really like to be able to dim , change color settings so that it's saved when i later turn them on/off from the aqara switch. i just turned all lights back to the "Silvercrest gateway" but i reall dont like using the tuya/lidl app works flawlessy when i use the lidl remotes wich get delivered with their lights (also would like to have those added into phoscon, deconz is detecting them but i think someone already made a post about them)

YKO-de commented 3 years ago

The Lidl devices are very new and we are still analysing their behaviour in the network. We have already noticed a few problems. We are working on it.

Not sure about "group commands" or how it would interact with this, but whenever I recall a scene in the scene editor, and though the lights DO correctly recall the saved settings, the web UI does NOT recall the corresponding position for the color and saturation sliders, they stay at the bottom, regardless of the scene saved setting. (tested beta web app too)

SEK-DE commented 3 years ago

@YKO-de something new here?

istepaniuk commented 3 years ago

There was no comment from the maintainers on the issue (other than replying to the LIDL-specific issues, which is not what's described on the title and @telefonmann's first comment).

The scene is recalled correctly on the devices I have (IKEA), but when this happens, the UI does NOT restore the scene color sliders to the correct position.

Investigating.

Meanwhile i please you to update the ConBee II at the latest version (266f0700). I recommend a native setup for this. https://github.com/dresden-elektronik/deconz-rest-plugin/wiki/Update-deCONZ-manually

istepaniuk commented 3 years ago

@SEK-DE I will update the FW ASAP and let you know. However, carefully reading the original report, at risk of repeating myself, I feel obliged to make a clarification:

When a stored scene is recalled (by for example, pressing on a switch that activates such scene) all lights are set correctly, always. The scene is recalled correctly.

What does not work properly is the Web UI: the sliders do not reflect the recalled position for the active scene. This makes it impossible to make a small adjustment to the sliders; both sliders jump to the bottom most position whenever a scene is recalled (even though, as I said, the lights themselves are being correctly set to the stored brightness/hue values).

istepaniuk commented 3 years ago

Some more details: This also happens when trying out http://phoscon.de/pwabeta/

The browser JS console reports:

success recall scene 3
skip event
Object { e: "scene-called", gid: "18", r: "scenes", scid: "3", t: "event" }
release scene event block
read Cave
Object { parse: true, headers: {…}, mode: "no-cors", cache: false, success: success(i), error: error(r) }

The brightness slider moves to the previously stored position, matching what the light group does (light "group" with a single IKEA TRÅDFRI bulb E27 CWS opal 600lm). However, the "Color" and "Saturation" sliders in the scene editor do not move (I previously stated that they jump to the bottom, apparently they just stay in whatever position they were prior to recalling the scene).

istepaniuk commented 3 years ago

I can confirm that I have the latest firmware and this still occurs.

2.12.06 / 19/08/2021 26720700

UPDATE: The issue still occurs (the sliders do not get positioned) but now the device itself can't be set to OFF by recalling a scene that is off. IMO, this cannot be a hardware issue, turning the light off works perfectly, it only fails when recalling scenes. I tried deleting all the scenes, group, resetting the lamp and re-adding everything: same results.

MadMaxBurdy commented 3 years ago

Here similar issues with a Rasbian/ Rasbee I/ Ikea Tradfri bulb v 1.2.217/ setup. When recalling a scene it will lower the light colour each team the scene is recalled. Saving the scene will bring the light to the required colour but next recall via scene setup or manual recall of scene will drop the light color back. Controlling the lights without the app (IKEA switch) everything seems to work fine. The lights will keep there settings.

Setup worked fine for a certain period but even after a new install the problem stays :(

Very curious what will pop-up to solve this annoying issue
