gollum-site without gollum serve? #21

I'd like to be able to host a static, Liquid-fied version of a GitHub (gollum-based) wiki. Just the wiki content transformed to static html files, for hosting on any random web server.

Is gollum-site suitable for this? The documentation seems to be suggesting that gollum-site server must be used to serve the site. Would you clarify its role?

gollum-site generate will do what you want.

For hosting the generated static html files on Heroku, you could give https://github.com/philippbosch/heroku-buildpack-gollum-site a try.
