yes, that's a firefox-only bug. it's correct in chrome. Need to figure out how to make them both simultaneously happy.

I see! NBD. Though what if I took the borderline out of the .png and instead demarcated the circle with a light dropshadow only, which could get more pronounced when you hover? (Also, can we see if we like how the dropshadow looks if it is more to the bottom instead of to the right?)
Okay, take a look at how it looks on live now. Can tweak those values as appropriate, but I agree - looks better with bottom-only and a little initial drop shadow too.
