Is there an example project? #385

I went through the v2 documentation and opinions (great stuff!), but as a newbie, I could use an example project that uses the CCDS template and demonstrates how the whole thing works together. Are there any available examples yet?

This would be very interesting, I have been looking for some but they are often outdated or slightly modified. It would be cool to have an official version that is updated with each new release.
