Rewrite all of the database calls from the mobile code as functions in the Google Cloud Platform.
This will help our performance as well as code readability.

*** I have started the functions and I will push the added files into the git hub repository. The directory is under /functions/

Sounds good. I will work on this after I finish a couple new features.
