Inquiry: API Documentation #346

Hello,

Do you have an API (public or private) for us to use so that we can request questions we author in your system?

We (at UCF) have been authoring problems in IMathAS and are very impressed with its functionality and robust libraries (especially for our STEM faculty members).

Thanks,

Jim

What are you looking for when you say "request questions"?

If I had to venture a guess, you're looking for a way to embed questions in another website. That's not really an API-able thing, but there is a way to do it. Details here: https://github.com/drlippman/IMathAS-Extras/blob/master/embedq/embedq.md

Thank you for pointing us to that documentation. We will take a crack at it and let you know if any other questions arise.

BTW, if your goal is to embed questions in Pressbooks, you might check with Lumen Learning. I think they made a Pressbooks plugin to handle a short code for embedding questions.

Oh, that's cool! We are not currently looking to embed these questions in Pressbooks, but I'll definitely reach out to the Lumen folks if that ever comes up. Thanks for letting me know. 👍
