Access to CLI translator

Dear Mr. Perry

I am currently writing my Master thesis at the advanced manufacturing laboratory at ETH Zurich on the topic of "Implementation and evaluation of a dynamic slicing and scan-path generation software for laser powder bed fusion (L-PBF)". In the README.rst it is stated that it would be possible to gain access to a CLI specific translator as a pre-compiled module on request. My question would now be, whether it is possible to the mentioned translator to be used in my research project?

Hi Luca,

Thank you for getting in touch. Ofcourse, for research purposes this would be perfectly fine.

The CLI format and translator is publicly documented and to an extent the .cli+ format extended by Aconity. This is something that can be shared openly, unlike the other translators - I just haven't yet integrated this into any convenient packages, such as PySLM.

The .cli format is ascii or text format - so the translator is simply implemented in Python rather than c++.

Can you contact me via my university email, and I can share the translator that can be used for your dissertation project.
