Sorry for the late reply. Questions:
Are you actually seeing faEye Show Anyway
or are you seeing the image below?
Can you please show me any javascript console errors that may apply? That might be hard, because looks like The Epoch Times generates a lot of errors in the console (on Facebook)
What browser are you using? I'm concerned because the CSS images aren't showing up in your screenshot. It should look like the image below
Thank you for your reply.
I am using Firefox 103.0.2 (64-bit) for Manjaro Linux with multiple addons (e.g., for now uBlock Origin is disabled on Facebook).
I never see the images for your addon, only the links, which is fine with me, I'd rather just have simple text links anyway (and hopefully they would respond appropriately when Facebook dark mode is enabled).
I'm attaching a file for the console output, hopefully this is what you wanted but if you need something else just let me know and I will try to get it :)

Just to clarify, the issue I have opened here reflects my experience with any questionable site being shared in a Facebook, not just Epoch Times. I just looked at Epoch Times on Twitter to compare, and on Twitter the posts are not collapsed, only marked as questionable, which is preferable to me (marking instead of collapse/expand functionality would be preferable to me in general, then the Show Anyway image and the like not loading would be moot).
Ah, it looks like you're using the Chrome version of this extension. Can you try the Firefox version?
Regarding text-only, that's an interesting idea, I might investigate an option to enable that
Hmmm I don't understand how I would've even been able to install the Chrome version from the Mozilla addons site, and the site indicated it was already installed (see the screenshot).
Nevertheless, I uninstalled it and reinstalled it, then restarted Firefox, and I still have the same results. Oddly I had to reinstall the addon and restart Firefox twice for it to take effect. For some reason after the first time reinstalling it and restarting Firefox, it was like I had never reinstalled at all.
The results are also still the same in a private window, and the MBFC addon being the only addon allowed to run in private windows.
The screenshots will mostly tell the story for this issue. I basically end up disabling the addon every time I go onto Facebook and want to see what the Firefox addon blocked. I haven't looked at Twitter in awhile, but if I recall correctly I had the same experience there.
The addon effectively prevents me from using Facebook's dark mode (or just not using the addon, if the benefit of dark mode outweighs the benefit of the addon).
It also will continue to hide a "questionable" post even after you click the "Show Anyway" link, so if you really want to see the post, you have to completely disable the addon.
