1 year ago Continuing to work out some stuff, taking advantage of https://github.com/pyinat/pyinaturalist/pull/502 in this PR.
Next up:
- we can simplify by using taxon_count.ancestors instead of doing that work ourselves
- include direct obs counts in our output
Replace my experimental code with flattened taxon counts tree provided by pyinat.
