cant run mission planner32

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.download latest MissionPlanner32
2.install missionplanner
3.run missionplanner

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
expect to see missionplanner program.  instead I see a black box that says 
fatal app exception  cannot find microsoft.directx.directinput
something aBOUT LINE 50

What version of the product are you using?latest missionplanner32 available on 
5/2/12 On what operating system? windows xp home service pack 3
