Mission Planner installed incompatible firmware #678

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.  Use Mission Planner64-1.1.95.msi to flash the firmware to an Ardupilot Mega 
2.
2.  Connect via USB.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Don't know what to expect.  I see Mavlink 1.0 Heartbeat, Please upgrade your 
Misson Planner.  This planner is for Mavlink 0.9.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Ardupilot Mega 2, Mission Planner64-1.1.95.msi, Windows 7.

Please provide any additional information below.

I got it working by clicking "Check for updates" on the Help tab.  Not sure why 
this was necessary.  Maybe I had files from an old version?  Also, while it 
failed, it would show a "Disconnect" button instead of "Connect", even though 
it failed to connect.
