No GPS 

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Latest on Windows XP

Please provide any additional information below.
Can't be a hardware fault as the tricopter recognises GPS feed.

I'm currently running 2.63 as loaded by the most recent copy of mission 
planner. Still getting the NO GPS reported by Mission Planner v1.2.11 using 
ArduPlane v2.63 but arducopter v2.7.3 tri reads the Mediatek GPS no problem. I 
bought my hardware within a week on them producing pre-soldered boards. 1280 
board.
